Buyer Beware!

I buy a lot of stuff online and I especially like to checkout  an online auction every now and then.  However, buyers need to exercise caution when bidding.  For many auctions, on top of the bidding price, you also have to pay a 20% auction handling fee.  Add to that, the shipping and handling.  To be on the safe side, I usually determine my top dollar amount that I’m willing to bid.  I then take 70% of that figure and make that my new top bid.  A lot of times I can get items well under my top bid, but I don’t want to get stuck paying too much for something.
