Pick and Pack

Pick and pack is not a poor attempt at a tongue twister, it’s a process. The pick and pack process starts in the warehouse. If you’d like to get technical, it starts with a phone call. Fulfillment companies receive orders for a certain item and send it to the warehouse. Warehouse and inventory managers proceed to check the availability of the item and move onto the next step. The next step in the chain is kitting and assembly. Kitting and assembly requires putting together necessary parts to a product and prepping it for the pack process. The pack process comes after all necessary components of the order have been filled by the fulfillment center. After all of the above steps have completed, the order is then ready for shipment off to its destination.
