The Use of CD Packaging

Music is one of the greatest American pastimes that allow us to sit back and relax, get up and dance, sing along or relate to. One of the key factors to picking out what kind of music that we want to listen to is the CD packaging. On the CD packaging there is usually the band or singer name, a picture of the band or singer (or some other kind of picture that is relevant to the CD itself) and then on the back of the packaging there is usually a list of songs that are on the CD along with another picture that suits the CD. We can easily find our favorite artists by browsing at a music store and looking at the different CD packaging and seeing what kind of themes we like. We also view the packaging to see what a band may look like or what a singer dresses like and such. A big part of a musician’s career is putting together their CD and the packaging so that it can draw in their audience and truly represent their music. CD packaging is a great way for artists to express themselves and their music.
