I’ve been a history buff for years, and when my wife and I retired we wanted to go somewhere a little more rural, yet still kind of close to some big cities so we could get to the airport to travel and see our kids. We’ve visited some of the civil war battlefields near some prime king george real estate and always thought about moving there. Well, we did… and I’ve even got a nifty metal detector to scour the area for old relics. It’s a great area, rolling hills, and peaceful, and still close to DC and baltimore.. we love it!
