I was amazed at how beautiful Yellow Diamonds were in person. I had heard of them but was never lucky enough to see them for myself. I was looking at loose stones to have put into my engagement ring, and asked about the possibility of a yellow diamond for the center. I found the perfect one that would compliment the setting, as well as my finger. I am so excited to see the finished product when I get it. I had a large yellow diamond set in the center of white ones so that the yellow would pop when ever anyone saw my ring.

Jackson was back in his room after an exhaustive gym session. He was unhappy today and kind of torturing himself by forcing himself to lift two dumbbells each weighed more than 50 kilos. Then he remembered his espresso machine dream, a dream that seems so far from him and makes him act weirdly in front of his friends. My friend Susan was going through a nasty divorce; her ex-husband would call her at home and berate her. During meetings with the lawyers she would bring this up, her ex-husband would act like she was making it up, or like she had agreed to something she had not and was now going back on her decision. Susan got herself a call recorder and began recording messages as well as all her conversations with her ex-husband. The next time he became belligerent she had the proof and brought it with her to the next appointment. After hearing the phone call, her husband’s attorney asked to meet with him privately. The behavior stopped and she attributes it all to having recorded proof of his nasty behavior.

I’ve been planning to replace my bathroom for months now. It’s been exactly the same since the house was built in the 1960s so you can imagine how tired it looks now. Always having to fight the advance of time and black mould in the grouting and under the inexpertly performed mastic sealant experiments by previous home owners just isn’t all that entertaining any more.  Had the house been Victorian or Georgian then I might have worried about removing original fixtures but I can hardly see avocado resin being something that people lament the loss of!

The thing that has put me off of commencing the work up until now is the amount of time it’s going to take and the mess it’s going to create. I thought that replacing a bathroom would be a whole world of hassle too: finding matching bathroom pieces, getting all the bathroom accessories like taps and towel rails would either be relay expensive or vastly time consuming. I was looking forward to doing some drilling but not the mess that that involves. Drilling in bathrooms is always such a chore what with having to locate every pipe and wire but these days there’s almost no drilling required with modern adhesives which can take a tremendous weight but can be removed without leaving a mark. 

Our group of  family just came back from an extraordinary vacation holiday and we enjoyed it. We were thrilled to get there and unpack. The weather played into our favor and the Seminyak Villas are beautiful. We found that we had more than enough space to relax and we loved the decor. The kitchen was wonderful too and I enjoyed preparing the meals in it. Everyone loved the comfortable beds and the pool area. We enjoyed laughing and taking in the great restaurants too. This was a perfect family vacation for us and we are thrilled about that. We cannot wait to come back again.
